Hours of Operation
Our Spa and its facilities are open 7 days a week, beginning at 9am. Closing times will vary dependent upon booking.
Reservations
Reservations are required and strongly recommended to be made 6 to 8 weeks in advance. Walk-ins are welcome and our team will do our best to accommodate. We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express or Discover and a credit card is required to reserve an appointment.
Minimum Age Requirements
Spa guests are required to be 16 years or older to utilize the spa facilities. Children under 18 enjoying services must have parental consent and be accompanied by a parent or guardian and may be limited to the type of service that can be received. Children under 16 are restricted from the pool and spa facility.
Cancellation Policy
We require a credit card for all appointments and at least 48 hours’ notice for cancellation or rescheduling to avoid being charged 50% of your treatment.
For groups or services under 4 bookings, we require a credit card to keep on file and at least 48 hours’ notice for cancellation or rescheduling to avoid being charged 50% of your treatment.
A 50% deposit will be required at the time of booking for groups or services of 4 or more. 7 days prior notice for cancellation or rescheduling is required for a full refund.
Treatment Time & Arrival
Please arrive at least 30 minutes prior to your scheduled appointment to allow for check-in at the inn for Covid protocols and to get to the spa afterward.All services will finish at their scheduled time so that our next guests receive their full spa treatment experience. The full value of your service will be charged.
Valuables
Please do not bring any valuables. We do not have a safe available for guest use. Buttermilk Spa is not responsible for lost or stolen items.
Cell Phones, Personal Electronic Devices and Cameras
We strive to provide our guests with a tranquil and private escape from the outside world. Please help us by turning off cell phones, personal electronic devices, and cameras upon entering the Spa.
Pregnancy Massage
Women in the first trimester of pregnancy can not receive massage due to great potential risk to mother and baby.
Quiet Area
Please respect the right to a quiet atmosphere for all guests. We ask that you refrain from talking loudly. The waiting room, locker rooms, and treatment rooms are all quiet areas. We honor silence.
Gratuities
Gratuities are not included in the price of services, but are appreciated.

What to Wear
Wear comfortable clothing.Proper and discreet draping is practiced during all services.
Medical Concerns and Comfort Level
Guests who are pregnant, have recent surgery or have other medical concerns are advised to consult their physician before booking spa services. Please notify the spa staff with booking if you have hypertension, allergies, physical disabilities, or are pregnant.
Covid Cancellation Policy
With the flu and cold season upon us, we have revised our COVID policies. The health of our guests and staff are extremely important to us.
If you need to cancel your appointment because of a positive Covid result, we will be happy to waive the cancelation fee with proof of a positive test.
A doctor’s note or a photo that includes the positive test and an electronic date. For example, a phone, television or computer in the same photo will be sufficient.
